1. What we are

IN TamilNadu is a private website and is not a Government of Tamil Nadu website. IN TamilNadu is a free online business directory for Tamil Nadu. We help people find local businesses and services across all 38 districts, and we help businesses receive genuine customer enquiries.

2. Free listing — our promise

  • Listing is completely free for every business in Tamil Nadu — shops, clinics, service providers, manufacturers, traders and professionals.
  • We do not charge for adding your business, editing it, adding photos, opening hours, services, offers or receiving enquiries.
  • We do not make sales calls to push paid packages. You will only receive business calls and enquiries from real customers interested in your service.
  • Your listing belongs to your business. You control your details, photos and offers from your own dashboard, and you can ask us to remove your listing at any time.
  • If we introduce optional paid features in the future (for example, extra promotion), they will always be optional, clearly labelled, and your free listing will continue to work.

3. Business owner responsibilities

  • Provide true and accurate information — name, address, phone number, services and prices.
  • Only list a business that you own or are authorised to represent.
  • Upload only photos and content you own or have permission to use.
  • Respond to customer enquiries honestly and professionally.
  • Keep your login details safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.

Name, email and mobile number of a listing are locked after verification to prevent misuse. Changes can be requested through the Support section of your dashboard.

4. Customer enquiries

When you submit an enquiry ("Get free quotes"), your name, mobile number and requirement are shared only with matching businesses (up to 5) so they can contact you about that requirement. Businesses must not use your details for unrelated marketing.

5. Content we do not allow

  • Fake businesses, fake reviews, duplicate listings or misleading offers.
  • Illegal products or services, adult content, gambling, or anything that breaks Indian law.
  • Spam, abusive language, or copying content from other websites.
  • Using the site or its data to send unsolicited calls or messages, or scraping the directory.

We may edit, hide, reject or remove any listing, offer or content that breaks these rules, and suspend accounts that misuse the platform, without prior notice.

6. Verification

"Verified" means our team has checked certain details (such as phone number) at the time of verification. It is not a guarantee of quality, licence or service. Customers should do their own checks before paying.

7. Our role and liability

IN TamilNadu is a platform that connects customers and businesses. We are not a party to any deal, payment or service between them. We are not responsible for the quality, price, safety or delivery of any product or service listed. See our Disclaimer for details.

8. Intellectual property

The website design, logo, text and code belong to IN TamilNadu. Business owners keep ownership of their own photos and content, and give us permission to display them on this website and in search engines while the listing is active.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
